CHALLENGE

How can 'Brutalism' as a visual style trickle into branding and packaging labels?

CONTEXT

Brutalism, originating in architecture, manifests its bold, raw aesthetic in graphic and UI design through stark designs with unapologetic functionality.

I'm a fan of challenging rules, and was excited to see how brutalism can manifest in packaging labels.

Looking into Brutalism and street art, I combined them to come up with a mood board that combined elements from both styles.
